Chicago Winds Media Guide (1975): A native of the city that houses the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Dave rocketed to football fame when he was selected to the 1964 high school All-American team at Canton's Lincoln High School. A graduate of Miami of Ohio, Dave was an All Mid-America Conference guard. Dave joined the WFL Chicago franchise after having spent parts of two seasons with the Miami Dolphins.
