Chicago Winds Media Guide (1975): Cyril Pinder, 28, will be entering his eighth pro season. He was the 2nd-round draft choice of the Eagles in 1968 after All Big Ten success at Illinois. Cyril spent 3 years in Philadelphia, then played two with the Bears and one season with the Cowboys before joining Chicago of the WFL last year. In 1970 with the Eagles, Pinder gained 906 yards, with a team-leading 657 rushing yards, and 249 more on 28 pass receptions. Last year Cyril led Chicago (WFL) in rushing with 925 yards on 179 carries, a 5.1 average, and he scored 8 touchdowns. He also caught 29 passes for 209 yards and 3 touchdowns. Pinder finished the season with 78 points scored, second only to Mark Kellar.
