The Chicago Fire announced Thursday that Jim Crossland had been dismissed as defensive co-ordinator for the World Football League team. CLub officials said he would be replaced by Larry Linter, a former head coach at Otterbein College. A Fire spokesman asked about the move, said only, "We felt that we needed a change." |
